The bite booster lure is designed primarily for deep water trolling, without use downriggers or dipsy divers. It can be used equally well for casting, vertical jigging / ice fishing, and drift fishing.
During the movement in the water the lure generates active and stable vibrations, even at the minimum speed. Depending on fishing conditions, a fisherman can select one of the several modes of vibration from moderate to very active.
I was lucky enought to be one of the first in Canada to test the Bite Booster protoype, and when I finally did, I hooked up with a nice Northern pike within minutes:
When I tried modifying the Bite Booster lure to use it as a weight flasher / attractant, I simply removed the treble hook, and added a 3-4 foot fluorocarbon leader with a baitholder hook tied at the other end:
The results were spectacular!
